D’s Sweets is a labor of love and expresses her innate passion for baking. “D” is Deena Williams who began baking at a very early age with her mother. Deena says, “Mom provided a small dessert, often homemade, after just about every meal but holidays were extra special baking times.”  As Deena matured, she continued to bake for her family and with her children.  In 1997, she recalls the movie Soul Food premiering. When she purchased the VCR recording of the movie, enclosed was a Soul Food Recipe Pamphlet and in essence, the rest is history. She also added to her line of pound cakes by making different flavors. The first pound cake, still a fan favorite, is called her Signature Pound Cake and a few other favorites include her Pineapple Pound Cake, Brown Sugar Caramel Pound Cake, and Pecan Pie Pound Cake. On September 25, 2015, D’s Sweets LLC was approved by the office of Ohio Secretary of State, Jon Husted.  D’s Sweets is not limited to pound cakes.  Each cake, cupcake, or cookie is made with quality ingredients and packaged with the simplistic appeal. When it comes to recipes there's nothing D’s Sweets won’t try.
